This pop up plant shelf card is a great introduction to making your own pop up books.
Using Kirigami (a type of origami which also includes cutting) and collage techniques, I’ll show you how to make your own pop up Shelfie. The result is a 5 tier shelf which expands as you open it (see our video in the images)
I show you how to construct paper plants from plain coloured paper to attach to your shelves and you can use the same technique to design other objects for different card designs too! You can come back to this project again and again to make cards for your loved ones.
