Paper Moon + Bat Mobile
I have re purposed my paper moon project and given it a spooky twist by adding paper bats to give the effect of bats flying beneath a moon.
The focus on this tutorial is to create a moon using origami techniques to suspend from your window. There is a PDF of bats of different sizes for you to download and use. Just cut out the template and use them to draw around onto black paper.
I will show you how to fold the moon, add the bats and thread it up to hang in your home.

Kits
I am not doing a kit for this as you probably have everything you need at home and it will be less costly for you. Here’s a list of everything you need;
Square paper (I went super large and squared off an A1 sheet of white paper) but you can use any sized paper
1 sheet of Black A4 paper
Scissors
Bonefolder (optional - you can use your hands but a Bonefolder is more comfortable)
Beeswax (optional - it is used to straighten the thread so it is less springy - you can use a candle if you have one)
