Kits
The kit for this course includes all the paper and thread you need for this course. If you want to purchase the course on its own (without the kit) here’s what you need:
- 12 sheets of A4 card
- 30 sheets of A4 paper
- Cotton or linen thread
- Beeswax
- Double sided tape
- Awl
- Scissors
- Needle

What will I learn?

All of my courses take you through step by step instructions via a subtitled video. This allows you to pause and rewind if you need to. I explain the measurements, techniques clearly. The Sashiko book and bookmark project all come with a template to download. If you purchase the kit, you will receive this as a printout ready to make.
Each course is segmented into bitesize videos, making it easy to go back to each step without having to find it on the video.
You will also receive an invitation to my private Facebook group where you can post photos and ask questions with other students who have already made these projects.
Both the Hedebo Tunnel Book and Sashiko Books projects are also included on my Advanced Bookbinding course.
About Me
I’m a paper artist and bookbinder with over 20 years experience teaching in the community. I have been teaching online since 2019 (hello pandemic!). My art training began in textiles studying at Glasgow School of Art before completing and BA Fine art at Newcastle University. I exhibit my paper installations across the UK and beyond and run a successful online course business from my studio in Northumberland. I release new tutorials every month.
