Join my latest course, showing you how to make an Origami Halloween. I’ll show you how to create five projects which explore the spooky side of Autumn through the magic of origami.
Once you join the course, you’ll be sent a link from my course host Thinkific to get access to the tutorials. Please note we go live on 11th October, so if you’re lucky enough to get the Pre-order link early, please note that the tutorials will be live from 11th October 2024.
If you purchase after the enrolment date, your tutorials will be available immediately.
Here’s the five tutorials that you will create on this course:
Origami Pumpkins.
Learn the magic of origami tessellations, a form of origami where you can make a continuing pattern. You will create a pumpkin design from one sheet of paper to sculpt into a pumpkin. You’ll also learn how to make origami leaves to add to your sculpture.
This project is great to make bunting with, hang on your fireplace (not too close to the fire of course!) or display at the dinner table as decorations.
Bat Book
This project is based on the Flag book book structure, which uses the accordion fold to create a kinetic sculpture of flying bats. When the book opens out you can move the bats so they look like they’re flying toward you. Very spooky indeed! The kids will love this project or you can use it like a card to give to your loved one.
Origami Envelope
This envelope is made from one sheet of A4 paper and fits your bat book so you can gift it like a card.
Trick or Treat Box
Level up your bookmaking skills with this origami trick or treat book. The book is made up of two Origami pockets (one for tricks, one for treats?) and housed inside a hard book cover. This is the mini Chinese thread book found on our longer course, repurposed for Halloween. It’s perfect to gift to your children or grandchildren for when they go trick or treating. Or if you’re hosting a dinner party, make one for each place setting as a sweet gift. Fill it with tricks OR treats, it’s up to you!
Origami Bat and Moon Mobile
Need something to hang in your window? Try our Origami moon and bat mobile. We create the moon from one sheet of paper and hang some paper cut bats from it and you’re all set for your trick or treaters!
All these projects have lifetime access so you can come back each year to make more.
Materials
All projects can be made with just A4 paper in orange, black, green and white. You also need scissors and a glue stick. Easy!
