I’m so excited to share my latest bookbinding course, celebrating exposed stitch bindings from around the world.
This projects shows you how to make five stitched bindings and a slipcase box to hold them within.
The aim of this project is to create a resource you can return to, in your bookbinding journey. Learn the technique for each binding and revisit the projects when you’re creating books for your business, friends and loved ones.

What is a Slipcase Box?
A slipcase box is often used to house a book inside. It has five sides with an open side where the spine of the book is exposed.
You will also make a slipcase box to hold all of your books. This is made after the books have been made and are measured to the exact dimensions of the books. You’ll be able to use the same technique to measure and cut a slipcase to any size book.
